***MEDIA ALERT*** CANDYLAND GOTHICA an Electronic Love Story - Soundtrack coming 2010

Candyland Gothica an Electronic Love Story is your Music Fetish for the year 2010. It's guaranteed totake your eardrums to Ecstasy in a ten song climatic experience...!!!

Atlanta, Ga. - 'Candyland Gothica an Electronic Love Story' is deemed as 2010's hottest
"Music Fetish". The soundtrack is an explosion of a ten song electronic eargasm Remixed
by some of the house and electronica genre's hottest new producers. Experience climatic
sounds and vibrations by rising producers PCP of Ontario and Brooklyn born DJ Nadeeah
Eshe
just to name a few. This ear candy is slated for release late January 2010.
The project was inspired as Indie Music Exec Don "Ghotti" Pitts II {Felicitous Records, Inc}
was pouring his soul into an erotic nude painting and listening to several tracks that were
submitted for the project.
"Colors, sounds, and sex all have a lot in common. Through these three mediums we can
express as human beings our deepest expressions of Love, Lust, Pain, & Pleasure. The
fusion of these mediums can take our senses to higher and higher climatic realms and that's
what we aim to do with this project."

Don "Ghotti" Pitts II is fresh off of his four part Mix tape Series 'The Adventures of Don Ghotti & Don Pitts - Official Mix tape Vols 1-4.1 & 4.2' and decided it was time to retire from
the "Mix tape" concept as an Executive.

"My most recent projects though outstanding works of art, were often overshadowed by the
flood of artist following the once successful Mix tape trend in the Hip Hop genre. I decided to
step outside of my comfort zone and pioneer a new trend in music and entertainment in
which I like to call Music Fetishes - The fusion of our most tantalizing senses of sound,
music, and sensations."

The project will feature an array of music and entertainment budding starts like you've never
heard them before. Hear records like "Mile High Club" by Pop recording artist Zuri Deveraux
and the house version of "Don't" by the soulful recording artist Otis Lee. The year 2010 will
mark the era of a new beginning in music and entertainment. You can be the first to
experience the first single from the project "Mile High Club" PCP Remix Exclusively on
www.donghotti.com. Subscribe to this site and be the first to place your eardrum to the
sounds of music's latest experience, MUSIC FETISH!!!

Sitting in his Atlanta office Pitts states "The music game will never be the same after the
launch of this project" he puffs his ashton cigar, "Not since Kurt Cobain's grunge movement
have we seen something so innovative and this whole time the ingredients were sitting right
up under my nose".

What's Your Potential???

So I was in a meeting today and it dawned on me that not every intellectually, creative person knows what their potential is... I mean I'm here in NYC and just about every person you come in contact with has an outstanding ability. Whether it's acting, singing or even comedy but do they really and truly know their potential or what they are capable of doing?? I know some people are very apprehensive at putting themselves out there so to speak. Making themselves vulnerable to others "Criticisms" of who they are or what they're about....Now pleeeeaaase don't get me wrong, we are after all only human. But.. When will we be proactive in OUR LIVES and not let our FEARS dictate where we go!!! COME ON PEOPLE WAKE UP!!!! Your DESTINY is knocking at the door! Will you let it in?????

RAW....NO GREASE!!!!

Ok, so I've been reading every guys update on the Kelis Vs. Nas thing. You know the $55,000 Nas is suppose to pay every month for the next 18 years. I must first apologize for what I'm about to say but DAMN MA WHY IT GOTTA BE LIKE THAT!!!! I know there were some indiscretion on his part so you say, but taking a man to the cleaners like that is not going to stop the hurt! It's not going to fill that void you might have! I understand the "Make Him Pay" mentality but what does it do for that child? He will grow to be a man won't he? And whose to say he doesn't make the same mistake his Daddy did? Will you side with him (your blood) or the woman? Real talk! Will you tell her "Take him for all that he's got baby"! Or will you say "Look he made a mistake or two or even three, you might not forgive but he's only Human". Have you even thought to yourself that he might not be able to pay that amount for the next 18 years? What then? Where do we as women draw the line? Being a woman scorned can bring out the complete B*TCH in us. And being a woman myself I can say that that part of us is completely irrational and makes decisions based on our emotional state only. Now if you can say otherwise, then that my dear would be considered a plan and if that's the case that would make you as bad as the other Gold digging B*tches that sleep with celebs just to get knocked up and take them for all they have! Don't get me wrong now I Love her music just like so many others. But being the woman that I am I just can't help but wonder why? I mean that was straight RAW NO GREASE!

What do you think? Would you do the same thing? Or would you see the bigger picture? Seriously.

LIFE CHANGING EXPERIENCE!!!

The last four days of my life as been one of inspiration and empowerment. It took me out of my comfort zone and bought to a place that I have never been before. You see we as women often time hear about other woman going through traumatic experiences of abuse and think to ourselves how bad it must have been for that person/persons to have experienced that. Well I had the opportunity to come face to face with some of the survivors of such experiences. Not in the way some of you might think. I was blessed to be apart of something that is proactive and to train as an Instructor.. R.A.D (Rape Aggression Defense System). A system that gives woman the knowledge and skill to protect themselves. I mean I don't know about you but I know there are a lot of woman in the world wondering if.. What if? What would/can I do if I were put a situation where my safety was in jeopardy? The R.A.D. Systems program pulled out all the stops and gear to make it real for us. Even had huge men padded up as Aggressors (bad guys) for us to use the skills and knowledge we'd just learned to the test. And it worked! I've never seen so many woman with one main goal and determined to achieve it! That goal "I Will Survive"! It was amazing!!!

Oh and by the way my daughter will be attending R.A.D for Kids next year because it's never to early to teach her how to ensure her safety. There are too many parents not preparing there children, especially their daughters for the real world!

The Pursuit of WHAT??

Ok so I never really understood why we women do certain things to attract until of course I was of age, but now that a am a mature female somethings we do still boggle my mind! I mean whether it's out shoe game or our wardrobe, it's almost always to impress the opposite sex. I've woman walking or trying to walk in stillettos they know they haven't learned the balance for.. Or even the pointed toes (ya'll know what I'm talking about) that they know damn well their feet are too WIDE to fit in and by the end of the night are slung across their shoulders. I'm not saying not to be sexy with whatever you wear.. Just make sure that it doesn't end up making you look like a HOT MESS in the process. ;-)

I'm just sayn....

The Adventures of Don Ghotti & Don Pitts - The Video Vol. 1

The Adventures of Don Ghotti & Don Pitts - The Video Vol. 1

This Video accounts the memoirs of two alter egos DON GHOTTI & DON PITTS both embodied in the same human vessel. DON GHOTTI lives the lifestyle of a ROCK STAR while branding his Label (Felicitous)

;)

Inspired!!

I've seen what I needed to see.. Now I count my blessing 1 by 1 never forgetting from where they've come. 2morrows not promised and 2day will pass. So I will live each 1 as if it's my last...

This is the inspiration that Michael Jackson has given me. Even though I didn't know him personally, still was embedded in my heart since age 8 when I would throw on my sequin glove, high water pants, penny loafers and zippered leather jacket, singing and dancing for any1 who would pay attention. Lol! Forever in my heart will he be and I know that there are many who feel the same.

Atlanta Experience...

Although I've been to the A' on several occasions, this particular trip has been the most busiest for me. Coming into town Thursday began a weekend of getting to know my second home. I mean I will be moving there eventually. ;-) Between being in the studio w/ Don Ghotti aka Gwap Daddy and DJ Eeza cutting vocals for The Adventures of Don Ghotti & Don Pitts Mix Tape Vol. 4, and a video shoot with Producer L T Moe and Pheonix Jones for The Family Guy Mix tape, I spent most of my time taking in the sights and sounds of the city. This included hanging with DG, Tiquisha and Phil at the Divans Hookah bar, getting down with the Soca night at Shout and tasting some of the best Lamb I've ever had. Having Chris of Hollyweerd do yet another tattoo for me down at City of Ink, getting my hair glamed by fabulous stylist Kyiara at Trendz Salon on Piedmont, Catching the Transformers movie at Phipps Plaza and enjoying the cuisine of P.F. Chang's in Alpharetta. Whew!!!! Now I know I haven't begun to scratch the surface but I can truly say Atlanta you wore me out! LOL

My next trip is slated for July and I'll be heading to the NYC. Haven't been there in years so I know a lot has chance.

Tell me what you think I should get into in NYC? And what are some other places to visit the next time I'm in Atlanta?? Your suggestions and comments are appreciated.. ;-)

DREAM WORLD.....

We all have dreams. Some have us laughing in our sleep and others make us cry, but then there are those that we wake from in a cold sweat wondering if it was real.. This is one of those dreams.

I'm at a friends house blogging about "The Realness of people Celeb vs Non" and my boys, practically begging, want to go out. Now I wasn't familiar with the area but it was a nice place to play so I say go ahead but I'm coming out with you. The big boys scurry along and I'm right behind them with my 5 year old. So we're playing and my big boys Say they want to go to the park across the way. I look to see how far it was.. Hmmmm not very far so i say OK but lil man stays with me.. I yell out to the big ones IT LOOKS LIKE RAIN! Big boys gone lil man decides he wants to go too.. okay we head to the park and right before we cross it pours.. So much so fast it immediately began to flood! My baby and I were stuck in the middle with cars sliding pass us I try to run back clutching him tightly in my arms..Suddenly I hear a crash and I see the tail end of a Mack truck sliding our way..my first thought is my baby he's screaming MOMMY!! Out of breath I reach a fence and pray it doesn't hit us then CRASSH! Another car hits it, changing the direction.. My mind races Where are the others?? The water level rises even more and the once beautiful landscape became a Heep of mud and broken tree limbs... I'm confused, everything looks different, can't find my friends place but we have to go on... I put my son on my back HOLD ON TIGHT! I tell him. Climbing up mudslides trying to get away from the water, trying to get my baby safe... We reach the top of a building which had a narrow walk over to the next.. The decision try to walk it with him or jump? Picturing both first ended the same.. Then... I Wake Up....

Studio Park Atlanta, Ga 4/4

Now if you weren't here you miss out on an amazing musical treat. The artist lineup was sick. From NYC all the way to New Orleans. The place was saturated with nothing but talent along with some of the whose who in the biz. Greg Smith was in the building holding it down for Battery5 along with Trimm who is signed with Myspace Records put on a great show w/ Head Roc of Battery5. Interscope Records own Prema LaNay Rocked the house Performing Heartbreaker and Felicitous own Bishop City ripped it with Ice Creams & Polos. Gage bought that New Orleans gangsta to the stage and The Doll Daze hit us with some electric guitar and bad ass vocals. L.T. mOE and The Plague are just that an infection of sight and sound of that hardcore thug shit that most artist only aspire to portray. They bought that Cleveland Flavor to the A'. One word for them Vicious!!! And guess what?!? Got pix! Please leave comments and don't forget to hit up www.donghotti.com and www.dcyanni.com for the latest of what's popping. Cakes & Kisses Party @ Asylum 3/5

This event was off the chain! Even though I had to wait outside for 15 mins before actually stepping foot in the place. Apparently the house was at maximum capacity at 10:30 and it started at 9:00. That alone says a lot. Any who, I finally get inside and I see all flavors of folks enjoying themselves to the live band on stage. I scan the crowd looking for the host of the night/my contact person Tyrone Harris. Now we've never met personally so I didn't know what he looked like. So I found Ty who introduced me to several people one of which was Brandon Felton of Sol source/Fusicology, very cool person. Then off to the table of what else, Cake and Hershey Kisses, marking the occasion of course. Ty's group Five One rocked the house along with MELLO D and THE RADOS and other up and coming artist. They had the house jumping with various artist just hitting the stage with a freestyle or two! I Had a blast and I can't wait for the next one slated for next month!!!!!

LA/Grammy Week day 2

Still Raining. The time change is driving my body crazy. Never the less my work wont do itself, but first sustenance. The continental breakfast the hotel was serving hit the spot, especially the made to order omelette's. MMMMMM! Back up to the room so I can make a few phone calls. First person on the list Ginuwine. We wind up bumping into each other at the baggage claim at LAX. We chopped it up a bit and he told me about a Pre-Grammy party/dinner he was hosting and asked me for my card (which I didn't have on me). None the less he called out his 7 and we parted ways, wich brings me to today. I called Ginuwines number and his bodyguard (I guess) answers and tells me to call back in a hour. I think to myself well maybe the time difference was kicking his butt too. LOL! Made a couple more AM calls and checked on the home front which was doing great but cold. Plans for the night began. We received an invite to attend Actor Brendan Dashazor's (One Life To Live) Red Carpet Event @ Social on Sunset Blvd. So of course we were there. Got fresh, Met up with DG, then hopped a ride with a young lady familiar with the area. Now the rain slowed but the night life didn't. It seemed to be a Red Carpet on every corner. We Get to the club and the line was mad long, but and invite (which we had) put us at the front and inside. It was a really nice spot... Tre' Chic! The music was sick and the star spotting was even more impressive. After several very strong drinks and dancing away my hair style it was time to head back and get some sleep....

Grammy week in LA...

First off I had to get up at the butt crack of dawn to do my hair before I left for airport. I didn't want to waste $75 at the salon when I knew the humidity would make my straightened locks curl like Shirley Temple. I get to Reagan Nat'l after fighting thru idiots in morning rush hour and head to check-in. Now this whole time I'm under the impression that I'm flying Delta, but after 10 minutes of being utterly confused I found my flight. Three floors up with Alaska Airlines. I drag my luggage onto the elevator to the top floor, look to my right with a sigh of relief. CHECK-IN! I was so happy I didn't realized that there was what seemed to be a disagreement going on with two gentleman and the counter rep. It seems they didn't believe they still had to pay for their luggage even if they were flying "First Class". I though to myself what a bunch of idiots and that's when he turned around..OMS! It's Ginuwine and his bodyguard, (he does look good close up).. We both say our hellos as I check my bags. I check two bags which only cost me 25 bucks and head to security. Security check went like a breeze but I kept getting crazy looks. Didn't dawn on me until I looked down at my sneaks ( purple sequin Nike mids).. Go figure?? I stopped by the bar to get an Appletini to calm my nerves before my flight, started sipping when I heard "Flight to LA now boarding". So I tipped the bartender and off I was on my way to LA!

Atlanta (Day 1)....

Flew out of Reagan National Friday afternoon, I landed in ATL around 5:20 PM. About 20 minutes earlier than I had anticipated. Anyway, I get here and Bam! The memories of the last years trip came rushing back and I wonder how will this weekend compare?? First on the venue: dropping of my luggage to my hotel and getting something to eat. So we hit the Renaissance (right behind the airport), drop my heavy ass bags off and head for Ruby Tuesdays. Met up with DG on the way to discuss what and where everything was happening. We get there (Ruby Tuesdays) and order the usual, Spinach Dip & Chips w/ a couple of shots of Patron.. Oh, I almost forgot a Cosmo for me. Mmmm, full a little buzzed we head back to the hotel to catch some zzzz's before the nights events.........

Venting....

Though I am thanking my kids don't attend a public school, for lack of better words THEY SUCK, I am still disappointed with the unorganized way the charter school they go to handled this snow day. I mean I get up at the butt crack of dawn to look for the listing of delays and school closures. I watch as the numbers go from 98 to 431 but none of them the one I'm looking for. Phone call after phone call goes straight to voice mail. My decision, keep them out or go on good faith that it will open on time. So... Off we go only to wind up banging on the door for what seemed like forever until a janitor let's us in. He proceeds to explain the school is on a 2hr delay and none of the teachers are expected to show until 10. I'm fuming inside asking myself why didn't they post this!! No phone call. No email. Nothing but a guessing game for us parents! So now I'm stuck in a cafeteria with several kids on a sugar high for the next 2 HOURS.... Taking your kids to school should never resemble home! Sheesh!!!!!

What Makes Or Breaks You....

Someone one once told me that in the Music Bizz all you have is your Rep and Credibility to offer. And that there will be times when both of those will be put on the chopping block or to the test so to speak. To see if you're going to stand amongst the Chaos or wither into the dark hole you once lived. There are decisions and choices you'll have to make to elude some of the craziness that comes with the territory. The goals you have set will be challenged and you will have to decide, will you Stand and Succeed or will you Wither and allow all that you have Bled and Sweat for Die. Better yet, will you put your life on the line for it??

All's Quiet on Campus..

The hustle and bustle of the week is over and many out of towners who decided to stay after the Inauguration have gone home. At last we Washintonians have our streets and sanity back. Though the shops in Georgetown loved the extra pedestrian traffic, we on the other hand , hated the bumper to bumper cars on M St.

The Day After......

Today is officially the first day on the job for our newly appointed President Barak Obama. I can't imagine the paperwork that must've flowed onto his desk this morning. The questions and decisions that he has been presented. I'm talking about the stuff even the media doesn't have access to. I'm wondering what's going on in his mind, his heart? Is he scared? Is his heart beating so hard it feels like it's gonna jump out of his chest? Has reality hit him as hard as it did most of us? Has who he is and what he means to this country sunk in? These questions I have because after all he is still a Man...

An Historical Time....

Living here in DC for most of my life i've seen many Inaugural Ceremonies. Some that have bought this country great success and some that have bought it nothing but heartache and poverty. But this years Inauguration seems to bring us hope of a different color. You see for me, the Swear In Ceremony means much more than what's instore for our ecomony. It means much more that just having a "Black" President. It means my son's can now say with pride "I can do and be anything as a man of color"! For them it shows how hard work and determination can surpass anything anyone has ever said could and would never be done. It shows that we as a people have more chances that not to live out our dreams, to be somebody ( taking those words from Dr. Martin Luther King himself). So you see for my family we celebrate for the possiblities of our future and that of our children's future. Who knows, maybe some day My Son will be President......It's possible.

Best Place to Be....

I've only been apart of the company (Don Ghotti/Felicitous Records, Inc.) for a short time, but in that time I've had the privilege of seeing how different aspects of the music industry works behind the scenes and in front of the camera. From Black Carpet events in Atlanta, Red Carpet in Beverly Hills, to being in the studio with major producers and watching their interviews. It is about the most exciting thing that I have ever experienced. And it gets better and better. Oh, busier too. But I'm up for the challenge. Especially with the new (The Adventures of Don Ghotti & Don Pitts Official Mixtape Vol. 1 coming available on Jan. 31, 2009), it's really going to be a crazy time!

Sometimes you make yourself crazy!!!!

Well, I'm almost finished getting everything together for both my trips to Altanta, LA and the Inaugural festivmyities here in DC. I must say with all of these things happening within a thirty day period my stress level went to the roof! I think I must have said "Wooossaa" about twenty times in one day. Lol! I guess sometimes we get a little (lot) crazy when it comes to making sure everything is done perfectly. Why? Because waiting until the last minute to anything of importance will have you pulling your hair out. And I just don't look good bald!!
I haven't blogged in two days with good reason. I've been busy as hell! I've got two major trips coming up, one to Altanta and the other LA. Not forgetting about the Inaugural festivities that are just around the corner. It seems there is never enough time to get everything done. At times it just get so frustrating I want to scream. Woooosaaa!

The mind is a crazy thing!

I start my day with the intentions of only a little browsing in Georgetown specifically the Betsy Johnson store on M St. But i venture a little further than that. As i turn the corner of M & Wisconsin Avenue something says look up and what do a i see, a Gold Dome at the very top of what use to be the Farmers Merchants bank! My heart started to flutter as my mind went into a tizzy. "Atlanta" i wanted to scream! All of the images that were stored in the back of my memory banks come front and center like the rapidly flowing river. "All this time" i said to myself. Realizing I've been in Georgetown a trillion times since my trip to the A' in December and I never once noticed it. I'm still trying to figure out what made me look up. Hmmm?

Friday, January 2, 2009

Crazy situation!

So i'm walking through the medical/research building here @ Georgetown University when up comes this gentleman, wearing scrubs and a lab coat, and a little boy who i figured was his son. Anyway, a quick hello i give to the guy and his son, but i guess he wanted to hold a conversation and out he comes with " are you looking for a sugar daddy". I'm like "WTF", in my mind of course as my attention turns to the smile on this about 11 yr old boy's face. I say to the guy, chuckling @ his comment, "see you're putting bad thoughts in his head already". Then the guy states "oh he knows what a sugar daddy is". I was outraged inside. But the look on my face doesn't seem to stop him from talking. He preceding to say how it was a new year and he needed someone to talk too when his pager goes off, and that's when it really gets creepy! He started explaining how he hated holidays and weekends, his reason, because there were so many bodies that came in. I glanced at the name tag and looked for his title OMG! This dude works in the morgue! I almost puked right there!
